Play Date Cafe 6

This is my entry for week 6. Bit of a struggle today. Not because of the colours. I kept on making great coloured backgrounds and then mucking them up after. the colours are my sort of colours. I mounted it onto some paper which I chose because I felt it created a weathered wood beach hut look. After a difficult day it is good to end with something. I feel the colours match the brief well.

Laura, I love your card, the trim almost looks like fish spine, great embellishment. Thanks for joining us at the Play Date Cafe. Sandi

Beautiful collage work, Laura! I think it's just perfect for the challenge colors--sorry it was a tough one for you, though! I have those days alot--you know what you want to achieve, but it just doesn't always come together the way you'd like it to!

So glad you're playing along with us at The Play Date Cafe'!

Laura, you should have brought this with you on Saturday and I could have seen it in the flesh!!! It's a lovely piece, particularly like the fish image :)
