The stamp is from a French company called KatzelKraft, if anyone is interested.

Less is More 143: Recipe: String or twine
Love string or twine and since Less is More I thought you can't get much less than this. One stamp, one length of twine.
Fabric or Lace: Stampotique 122
Stampotique has challenged us to use fabric or lace this week.
Just up my street. Love working with fabric. Here I have created a fabric collage background. It is made from Silk Sari strips. Love the vibrant colours. Finished off with a mad hessian fringe.

Crafty Individuals October Challenge
October is the theme running over at Crafty Individuals this month.
I have decided to go for a clean and simple card hopefully with class.
Teasels always remind me of autumn and summer's end so I decided to use this stamp to depict autumn.
Although it is a time when most plants are dying back for winter there is always "hope" with the promise of life to come with the presence of seeds, pods and nuts. So this wonderful word stamp was used for the background.

Less is More 142: Trees
I love trees. So when Less is More challenge subject was trees i just had to join in.
Just love this stamp and every time I use it I love it again. It seems to stamp beautifully too. Do you find that some stamps just seem to stamp better than others?
Simple laid onto an embossed card. I didn't think much of this folder until I actually used it and then loved this too. Looks so much better when embossed. Then a flower punch used and simply highlighted with silver gems to set t off.

SDC121: Halloween
I think the title says it all. Stampotique's current challenge,
So here is one of my favourites. Spider Girl. Perfect for Halloween especially with Cone Hat on her head.
Then I thought some more and thought wouldn't it be better if she had some bats with her?
And maybe a bigger spider?
Stamps used:
Spider Girl
Cone Hat
Hearts
Swirl Stalk

SDC120: Handles, hinges, buckles, fasteners, pulls
Stampotique this week came up with a very original challenge that I embraced. I love to be stretched and this certainly made me make something I otherwise would not have done.
I decided to use a zipper as I thought this would be new, novel and unique? It certain is to me, to use a zipper in a card.
I would certainly Treat these guys rather than for them to play tricks on me! That would be just too many tricks for comfort. And then I would zip them up quickly!

Zombie Feist: Trick or Treat? |
"Well, la de frickin' dah!"
I stamped the Crowd onto the backing paper first and then again onto tracing paper. This I cut out and overlaid. It makes them look even more ghostly as you can see right through them.
Hope you enjoy?

Less is More 140: White on White Christmas
After much playing, thinking and experimenting this is the final piece I came up with for this challenge, White on White Christmas with Less is More.
I have used a sycamore seed which I have heat embossed with white. A technique I think or feel is unique to me. Embossing dried leaves and things. One I first did numerous years ago. I actually gave Tim Holtz and oak leaf I had heat embossed and he was amazed by it.
The reason I used this seed head is because its shape reminded me of a mistletoe leaf. A plant strongly associated with Christmas. It felt wrong to add synthetic pearls for the berries, so I hunted for some small white pebbles in the garden. They have gone more yellow in the photo. Again I wanted a very natural backing for the group. So I cut a piece of scrim plaster bandage and damped it down to set . I loved this combination together
Lastly I stamped Happy Christmas and heat embossed in white. I wish I had a stamp that said something like "I am dreaming of a White Christmas"

SDC119: ATC's
I too love ATC's, so well pleased when this challenge was posted on the Stampotique site.
I decided just to have fun and see what came out of the play session with no preconceived thoughts.
And this was the result. Two sticks came out to play and they decided to show me where they lived. We just had a bit of make believe time and `I was transported to a make believe world for a time. What better stress relief!
